Introduction
The SGS-2000 double-head forming machine is a heavy-duty agricultural straw briquetting machine designed to convert crop straw and other biomass waste into high-density solid fuel rods. Equipped with two extrusion heads and a D60 die, it continuously presses and extrudes raw materials into uniform rods approximately 60 mm in diameter, making the machine well suited to biomass fuel production and to the carbonization process for charcoal manufacturing. The material is fed through the top hopper, where an auxiliary feeder motor ensures a steady, even flow into the pressing chamber. Inside the machine, the biomass is compressed under strong extrusion pressure and shaped through the die into dense, rigid rods. The two extrusion heads deliver higher output while maintaining stable running, and the large flywheel drive provides smooth, powerful torque for continuous operation. All rotating transmission parts are protected by a perforated safety guard, and the robust welded steel body is built to withstand long hours of continuous use under heavy load.

FAQ
Q1. What raw materials can this machine process?
A1. It is designed for agricultural and forestry residues such as corn stalks, wheat straw, rice straw, cotton stalks, wood chips, peanut shells and other dry biomass. For best results, keep the material dry 15-20% and chopped to around 5MM; overly long or wet material will reduce output and rod quality.
Q2. What size are the finished rods?
A2. With the standard D60 die, the machine produces rods of approximately 60 mm in diameter. Different die sizes can be fitted when other diameters are required — please confirm available die specifications with your supplier.
Q3. What is the double-head design for?
A3. The machine has two extrusion heads working at the same time, which raises continuous output compared with a single-head model. Both heads share the main drive, so you get higher capacity without a major increase in floor space.
