In December 2023, SHANDONG LONGZE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD installed a 5 TPH wood pellet production line in Pakistan.
The customer’s raw materials are recycled wood scraps, wood shavings and wet sawdust collected from furniture factories. A Longze 216 drum wood chipper cuts the feedstock into 2–3 cm wood chips. The chips are then sent to one set of Longze 200KW grinder to produce 10mm wood sawdust. Next, a Longze rotary dryer with 1.8m diameter reduces the moisture content from 40% down to 15%. After drying, two sets of Longze 132KW pellet mills manufacture 8mm diameter wood pellets. Finished pellets go through a pellet cooler before being packed by an automatic bagging machine into 25kg bags.
